Hi folks, just to let you know I'm working on a new project that is based in this book:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Agile-Development-Rails-Pragmatic-Programmers/dp/1934356549/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1346366995&sr=1-1

Completed College Projects
Hi all, just to let you know I have completed two web development projects, one based on XHTML, JavaScript and CSS, all pages were subject to CSS and XHTML validation using the strict model with http://validator.w3.org/ and http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ . This was a college project based on the fundamentals of basic web design and overall a very good exercise. It was very time consuming to get elements in the right position and get colours sorted out too. I also had to reformat a lot of the images to a supported size (these were from the manufacturer websites and were used with kind permission - thanks to Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, Martin and Rickenbacker). The attachment is a shot of the welcome page; quality isn't the best I know but you get the idea hopefully.
The second project is an e-commerce based application designed and built using Ruby On Rails, this was a team effort with a fellow student. Rails is designed to build applications from the server side of things (unlike client which is based on XHTML, CSS etc). Here is a screenshot of the homepage:
